Minimizing Waste by Maximizing Creativity

Fabric: Mod Green Pod

Two amazing women, Nancy and Lisa Mims,  are creating beautiful and eco-friendly fabrics for your upholstery or home decorating needs. Their fabric is 100% certified organic cotton grown in the United States. They do not use fabric protectors, color fast agents, stain resistants, wrinkle-free agents or fire retardants on their products, which means no off-gassing for your home.  They also carry vinyl-free wallpapers!

Averaging at about $40 a yard, it’s a bit expensive, but if you can – go for it. You would not only be supporting a woman-owned business, but you’ll sit easier knowing you’re not inhaling cancer!

Be sure to check out their blog as well at www.modgreenpod.blogspot.com for pictures of what they have now and what they’re working on. They need help in deciding some colors!
